Thanks for joining me. Paper, Paints & Pencils is where we can explore the world of art together.

Before we get started, I thought it might be helpful to know a bit about me. My name is Kelli, and I am an artist and greeting card designer.

My adventures in art started with a set of colored pencils but it has grown to include watercolors, ink, collage, pastels, and (if I’m lucky) it will keep growing as I keep exploring.

I like sharing what I know and what I have learned about art. While my subjects typically focus on birds, botanicals, and landscapes, the techniques and especially the materials change frequently.

Like my drawings and paintings, each newsletter will focus on something different. One may be on supplies, another may be a tutorial, or a new painting I’ve made, or something fun I recently discovered. Each will be unique, just like each drawing and painting is unique.
